Comparing

Recently I decided to buy a laptop because of my job. But I have no idea which brand I should choose. Thus I decided to take one day off to shop to the stores that specialize in laptops. After comparing the price, function and the warranty, I mainly focused the IBM and ASUS brands. Narrowing the range of brands made it easier for me to make the final decision.
First of all, I had to define the price range that I am most comfortable. It goes without saying that the more functions you want, the higher price you need to pay. And the higher amount I could bear or want to pay is NT 50,000. After deciding on the price ranges that I could afford. It is still difficult for me to choose from many models produced by two brands. So I focused on the functions of the laptops. Because the laptop is intended for my job, I would need to carry it to work everyday. Therefore the weight is the most important factor to me. I asked one of my friends who has owned a laptop about his decision. My question were If today you need to buy a new laptop, which brand you would choose? And what are your reasons? He gave me this answer If you didnt care about what the functionalities and you just wanted to use it on your job then I suggested that you buy ASUS. It has the basic equipment that you would need. But as far as Im concerned I suggested strongly that you should buy IBM. Because it not only has a great reputation in the laptops but also has many service centers around the world. After listening to his advice, I chose IBM X31 for my purchase. Because its weight is only 1.2 kilogram it is suitable for me to carry everyday and the most important thing is that X31 has three years warranty. My friend told me that the life of a laptop averages three years. Within three years if it was unfortunately out of commission, at least you dont need to pay for fixing. Because each component part is so expensive that I can hardly imagine.
There were some lessons I learned from buying a laptop. First you should need to shop around. After shopping around, its easier to find out what the types you want to purchase. Second asking your friends who had experience of it, their advice was useful information for you to make the final decision. Finally buying a laptop was not like buying apples. You really needed to pay more attention to it.
